Recovering from a traumatic brain injury is a significant, multi-year journey. It is a journey without a map and one that requires extreme determination from the patient and caregivers. We started John’s Journey to provide support needed to navigate the complexities of recovery and the potentially overwhelming costs that come with it. For John specifically, John’s Journey gives him a “job” everyday of helping run an ecommerce business, which will help him on his road to recovery. For others on a similar journey, our goal is to offer financial aid for specialized therapies and potentially job opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to ensure people on this long recovery journey have the means to reach their destination: a successful return to work or school, independence and a life redefined.
