Watch a video of John Bell and his family

Dear John,

I know it is hard to comprehend, however much we prepare ourselves, it just never seems right in the end. I have just lost my mum to MND 5 days ago and I thought I would have her for a few months more. Like John, mum was so brave and unselfish and never once complained. She took everything the disease threw at her and more. It was a privilege to have been part of John's journey and you should be very proud of the valuable things he did for all. Lets hope a cure is found really soon, so that no more people have to suffer the evil disease that took away my mum and so many others.
